- Where do you get your crickets?
We get our crickets from Entomo Farms in Ontario, Canada as a trusted supplier of high quality crickets.
- How are the crickets farmed?
The crickets at Entomo Farms are free range. The crickets are free to hop through their cricket condos (hollowed out structures), outside of the condos, and to whichever feed stations they prefer.
Harvesting the crickets only occurs near the end of their life cycle. Crickets only naturally live about 6 weeks.
- What is a BiTE Bar?
A BiTE Bar is an energy bar made with a short list of whole food ingredients. 85 to 95% of BiTE Bar ingredients are organic. Our bars feature crickets as a protein source for their sustainability and nutrition. Gluten free, non gmo and dairy free, enjoy BiTE Bars on-the-go, pre or post workouts, with your kids, or as a quick, convenient breakfast.
